A serial entrepreneur, after 8 years of growth, in April 2018, Mark sold his 50% share in the 1-click customer satisfaction SaaS tool, Customer Thermometer. Previously, he had built and sold two content marketing agencies, Twist Media in 2006 and 8:45TV in 2014.
Mark wrote his first book, Helpdesk Habits in January 2019 and released the accompanying online video programme and certification at helpdeskhabits.com in May 2019. The book and online program takes technicians, with a typically high IQ and lower EQ and creates balance, through 50 customer service habits,.500+ students are currently going through the program and aiming to become helpdesk superheroes. Mark also trains MSPs, face to face in all things Helpdesk Habits.
Mark’s second book, MSP Secrets Revealed, was/is published on 5th May 2020. He has encouraged 90+ MSP owners and IT professionals from around the world to part with their best business advice. 101 secrets span sales, team management, recruitment, personal development and more and provides a shot of inspiration for the established and newbies, alike.
Mark is also a conference host, video presenter and advisor to a couple of UK MSP’s.
Outside of business, Mark enjoys life in Bray, Berkshire in the UK (which is the home to half of the UK’s 3-starred Michelin restaurants) with his wife, son and daughter. He mentors for the Princes Trust, he loves to travel, is running the 2020 London Marathon and likes to pretend he’s cooking in a Masterchef competition, whenever he can.
